Gainesville Chick-Fil-A: Daddy & Daughter Date Night

Lake City/Fort White: Gentle Carousel Miniature Horses at the Library

This Friday, the Gentle Carousel Miniature Horses will be visiting the libraries in Fort White and in Lake City (Main Branch). Last year the event included a video about the horse therapy program, a representative that spoke about them and then at the end the kids lined up to meet the horse. Bring your camera!



The times are as follows:
Fort White Branch- Friday, June 24 at 11am
Lake City Main Branch- Friday, June 24 at 2pm
Admission is FREE.

Sun Country Deal: $10 for 2 Stay and Play Sessions (Gainesville)

We love Sun Country! It's a great place for little ones to play and get their energy out! They have sessions called Stay and Play each Tuesday and Friday from 9-11am. The kids get the run of the entire place, which is basically a gym/playzone for kids. It also includes songtime and snacks at the end of the session. LivingSocial is currently offering a deal where you pay $10 for 2 of these sessions. The normal price is $11 per session for children ages 2 and up. This coupon is good until December 13, 2011 and you have 6 days to purchase!

Free $10 gift card + Goodie Bag at Dollar General (Lake City)

The new Dollar General off highway 247 is having their Grand Opening on Saturday, June 11th. As part of the celebration, they are giving away $10 gift cards to the first 50 adults (18 and older) starting at 8am! They are also giving away goodie bags to the first 200 adults! 18th Annual Wellborn Blueberry Festival

Here's a local event happening this weekend! They will have arts and crafts, food (of course!), a Country Store filled with homemade items, amusements for the kids, entertainment, karaoke, a cash raffle, a bake-off, a children's talent contest (with cash prizes!), a tasting party and MORE! If we were going to be in town, we would visit this for sure!

Silver Springs is called "Nature's Theme Park." Located in Ocala, it has the famous glass-bottom boat rids, wildlife exhibits, rides, activities and more. Right now they are offering a deal when you buy one Adult ticket, you get another Adult ticket free. Adult tickets are $29.99, children 3-10 are $24.99 and 0-2 are FREE.
We took Allie to Silver Springs last year when they ran this deal. It's a really great, spacious park. Her favorite part was feeding the giraffe :)
